He has extensive trial experience in automotive, motorcycle and off-road vehicle crash litigation, having handled many hundreds of such matters, appearing in all but a handful of states. He has also coordinated a nationwide early case evaluation program for a major automobile manufacturer. While emphasizing automotive product liability defense, his practice also includes commercial litigation and the defense of employment law matters, premises liability claims, franchise litigation and industrial accidents. Mr. Hanson has lectured on trial practice and technical subject matter, both in the United States and in Europe. Mr. Hanson is a qualified neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota Rules of Practice. He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and the University of Minnesota Law School (J.D. magna cum laude, 1979). He is admitted to practice law in Minnesota, Wisconsin, California and Ohio, as well as many federal district courts and circuit courts of appeal. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, as well as several national, state and local bar associations. |
